Iran threatens to attack US companies across the Middle East

The Revolutionary Guard of Iran’s Islamic regime threatened this Monday (16) to bomb US companies across the Middle East. The warning was released in a statement published on the official website Sepah Newslinked to the military branch of the Persian country.

According to the note, employees of companies in the United States must immediately leave facilities located in the region. “Employees of American companies are asked to leave these areas immediately. These locations will soon be targeted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,” the statement said.

Iranian authorities did not specify which companies would be hit, but, according to international press, a list of possible targets had already been released last week by the Iranian state agency Tasnim. Among the locations mentioned would be offices of large technology companies in the United States, such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Nvidia, located in Gulf countries.

This weekend, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that Tehran could carry out attacks against US companies and “companies in which the United States has a stake” if its energy infrastructure is the target of bombings by the Americans.

“If Iranian facilities are attacked, our forces will target facilities of American companies in the region or companies in which the United States has a stake,” Araghchi said.
