The 13th salary of INSS retirees and pensioners will be advanced and paid in two installments, in the months of April and May. The measure was published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette of the Union this Thursday (19) and should benefit around 35 million people, with the release of approximately R$72 billion in total.
The calendar foresees the payment of the first installment between April 24th and May 8th. The second installment will be deposited between May 25th and June 8th. The dates follow the final number of the benefit card, disregarding the check digit that appears after the dash.
Insured persons who receive benefit for temporary incapacity, accident benefit, retirement benefit, maternity benefit, death pension or incarceration benefit are entitled to advance payment. Beneficiaries of the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) and Lifetime Monthly Income do not receive their 13th salary.
