Weinstein, 73, is serving a 16-year prison sentence for another case in California, for the rape of a European actress. His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, stressed that, “every time prosecutors have asked a jury to convict Harvey Weinstein based precisely on Jessica Mann’s accusation, they have failed to reach a unanimous verdict.”
