The first photos, however, show the director in some of his leisure moments, such as the image in which he is sniffing and smoking cigars, riding in a convertible and making a face in a mirror selfie with a bottle of rum. On its website, the hacking group stated that Patel “will now find his name on the list of successfully hacked victims.” They dedicated the hack to the victims of the ship Iris Dena, bombed by the US off the coast of Sri Lanka during the war. Handala, which calls itself a group of pro-Palestinian vigilante hackers, is considered by Western researchers to be one of several identities used by the Iranian government’s cyberintelligence units. Handala also claimed another hacker attack this week, in which it published photos of documents from 28 engineers from Lockheed Martin, one of the largest US military companies, working in the Middle East and threatened to kill them.
