The Droid TW-7.62 unmanned ground vehicle was used by Ukrainian troops to stop an attack by Russian forces on the front line.

Controlled by a member of the unit known as the Disney Squad, the armed robot was directly involved in the fight: it identified and attacked enemy soldiers.

During the mission, the system detected two drones lying in wait for the arrival of Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed them before they could be used. After that, the equipment opened fire on the enemy infantry and kept the Russian positions under constant pressure during the battle.

The manufacturer, a DevDroid according to the system’s intense firepower forced the enemy forces to retreat, which allowed the Ukrainian unit to fully repulse the attack. According to the company’s CEO, Yurii Poritskyi, the use of armed robots shows that autonomous technologies are taking over increasingly dangerous tasks on the battlefield.

The Droid TW-7.62 is a reconnaissance and attack robotic vehicle equipped with a KT-7.62 (PKT) machine gun and a ballistics computer that increases the accuracy of shots. The system also uses artificial intelligence functions to automatically recognize and track targets. In January 2026, another vehicle of the same type – built on the NUMO platform – captured three Russian soldiers during an operation.
