China has unveiled two new Type 055-class destroyers, bringing the number of ships of this type in service with the People’s Liberation Army Navy to ten.

Equipped with vertical launch systems for various types of missiles, the ships can also operate alongside aircraft carriers, strengthening the offensive and defensive capabilities of China’s naval forces.
