China has unveiled two new Type 055-class destroyers, bringing the number of such ships in service with the People’s Liberation Army Navy to ten.
The ships with the names Dongguan (109) and Anqing (110) first appeared in official footage during naval exercises broadcast on state television.
The ships were shown participating in joint training at sea alongside other naval units, in operations aimed at testing combat readiness and the integration of various platforms.
