China has revealed two new Type 055 class destroyers, bringing the number of ships of this model in service in the People’s Liberation Army Navy to ten.
The boats, identified as Dongguan (109) e Anqing (110)appeared for the first time in official images during naval exercises broadcast on state television.
The ships were shown participating in joint training at sea alongside other navy units, in operations aimed at testing combat readiness and integration between different platforms.
