Bugatti has just unveiled an exclusive edition of the Mistralfeaturing a custom pearlescent paint job capable of leaving anyone in awe.
This is the Bugatti Mistral La Perle Rarea one-of-a-kind edition of the supercar built by the automaker’s Custom made division, according to information from Car and Driver.
Custom made is dedicated to bespoke customizations of Bugatti’s already incredible high-performance machines, allowing wealthy clients to select virtually any material or paint option imaginable.

With the The Rare Pearls, Custom made took the W-16-powered Mistral and adorned the entire car with organic lines and curves that reference past Bugatti masterpieces, such as the Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc.
In this case, Bugatti said the aim was to “enrich the [Mistral’s] character with a sculptural and fluid aesthetic,” a goal achieved through an elegant blend of white and gold lines across the exterior and even on the alloy wheels. A meticulous hand-applied engraving and masking process was required to achieve this result.
The theme was also extended to the interior. The cabin is dominated by white upholstery, while the door panels feature the same mix of gold and white lines. Bugatti also installed warm ambient lighting to further enhance the look, highlighted by machined and polished aluminum finishes.

The powertrain remained unchanged. Under the hood, the Mistral features the mighty 8.0-liter W-16, the last Bugatti to showcase this iconic engine. It produces 1,578 horsepower and has a top speed of nearly 420 km/h.
While Bugatti did not disclose exactly how much this exclusive edition of the Mistral cost, it is safe to assume it is well above the $5 million price range announced when it was first revealed.
