Messages obtained by our reporters Nathália Pase, Pedro Teixeira and Thayane Melo reveal Daniel Vorcaro’s interactions with a wide range of contacts in Brazilian political power.
Among the documents held by the Federal Police is a table organization spreadsheet for a conference entitled “Lide Brazil Conference”, in New York.
The spreadsheet contains an extensive list of contacts from the political and judicial sphere, who would be present at the event together with Vorcaro. The list includes names such as Alexandre de Moraes (and his wife Viviane Moraes), Dias Toffoli, Michel Temer, Henrique Meirelles, João Doria, Gilmar Mendes, Cármen Lúcia and Ricardo Lewandowski.
One of the conversations obtained by the report shows a print of a WhatsApp conversation between the banker and Nelson Tanure, target of the 2nd phase of Operation Compliance Zero, in which the investor thanks him for a gift. “Having lunch with friends, with the jewelry on my arm that you gave me. Thanks”, he wrote.
Tanure was referring to a watch from Jaeger-LeCoultre, one of the most prestigious luxury watch manufacturers in the world. The watch in question is the Quantième Lunaire from the Duomètre line. On the store’s website, the price can only be checked upon request. In the luxury resale market, such as on Chrono24 or at auctions, it is possible to find used examples with prices from R$110,000 to R$1 million.
PF investigators treat Nelson Tanure as a possible “hidden partner” of Banco Master. In January 2026, Tanure had her cell phone seized in a phase of the operation investigating the Master. The PF is investigating whether the businessman would be the “final recipient” of suspicious funds moved through the Vorcaro network.
In messages from Daniel Vorcaro and his then girlfriend, Martha Graeff, the banker reports a meeting with Alexandre Moraes. During the conversation, Vorcaro tries to call Martha, but is not answered. A while later, Martha returns to Vorcaro’s attempt and asks who the boy was with him, and Daniel responds: “Alexandre Moraes”. It is not yet confirmed whether the mention is by Alexandre de Moraes, from the STF.
The report also collected prints of conversations that show the relationship between Vorcaro and Ciro Nogueira, where the businessman says that Ciro is one of his great friends in life, and celebrates an amendment presented by the congressman that would favor Banco Master. There are also messages in which Vorcaro celebrates the meeting outside the official agenda with Lula, in December 2024.
There is also an exchange of messages with João Doria, former governor of São Paulo, where he expresses concern about matters related to the bank and “Mauricio”, in a possible reference to the former partner of Banco Master, Maurício Quadrado. In a note, Doria’s advisor responded: “The message was sent in May 2025, when there was still no serious public issue attributed to the Master bank. It was just a cordial gesture.”
Daniel Vorcaro was arrested again on Wednesday (4). The new stage of Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates suspected fraud at the financial institution, also resulted in the arrest of Fabiano Zettel, the banker’s brother-in-law; Luiz Phillipi Mourão, who would be responsible for monitoring Vorcaro’s opponents; and federal police officer Marilson Roseno da Silva.
