“I was unable to safely leave while this was happening, and my child had been left inside the home during the chaos under her watch due to our custody agreement,” he alleged in the docs, per TMZ, adding that to protect himself, he “pushed her away from [him]which she made contact with the passenger seat.”
Later, Taylor allegedly texted him about her bloody nose requiring medical attention, but Dakota felt it was “an attempt to get me to return and prevent me from calling the police,” per the docs.
After the incident, in which Dakota claimed he sustained bruises and lacerations, he said he was “genuinely concerned for my safety and the safety and well-being of my child.” As a result, he requested temporary custody of their son, citing Taylor’s 2023 arrest for aggravated assault, for which she later pled guilty.
Dakota also asked that Taylor not be allowed to drink or use drugs during her visitation time, according to TMZ.
