The baby was found abandoned inside a car in a car that had been towed to an impound lot in Michigan on February 28.
The Detroit Police Department (DPD) reported that a detective began an investigation into the case and suspected that the baby had been left in the father’s car, which was towed to a yard in Eastpointe.
On Monday (2), a man was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The DPD detective then contacted the Harper Woods Police Department (HWPD), who confirmed that the car was towed for being parked “inappropriately,” blocking a garage entrance.
