“When people ask me, ‘Where are you from?’ I’m always proud when I say, ‘Tucson, Arizona,'” Savannah explained in the segment. “I grew up there, went to college there, my mom still lives there, and honestly, a part of me has really never left.”
The University of Arizona grad was born in Melbourne, Australia, where her father, Charles Guthriewas working at the time. They lived there for two years before moving to Tucson.
“By far, my favorite part about Tucson is family,” Savannah said. “El Charro is the oldest family-owned Mexican restaurant in America, and the perfect place to catch up with mine—my mom, Nancy, and sister, Annie.”
The Guthrie ladies were also together for Savannah’s 54th birthday Dec. 27, the veteran news anchor captioning photos with her mom, sis, husband Michael Feldman and their children Vale and Charley“birthday wish comes true every day with these beautiful people by my side.”
