In addition to air defense systems, the scouts of the “Ghost” force neutralized the RLM-ME vehicle, a component of the Nebo-M radar complex, which is responsible for detecting low-altitude targets and improving situational awareness of the airspace.

Another damaged equipment was Opponent-GE, a three-dimensional radar station that detects and tracks air targets and provides targeting data to surface-to-air missile and fighter aircraft units.

Capacity of a neutralized system

Pantsir-S1is equipped with a radar that can detect targets up to 36km away. The missile can intercept threats at a distance of up to 20km and an altitude of 15km, and two twin 30mm cannons provide close-in defense with a radius of up to 4km.

Tor-M1 uses a dedicated radar with a detection range of up to 27km. The 9M331 missile operates in a war zone of 1.5 to 12 km and covers an altitude of 10 m to 6 km.

Tor-M2integrates an improved radar capable of detecting targets up to 32 km away, including targets with stealth characteristics. By adopting the 9M338 missile, the engagement range has been expanded to approximately 15-16 km, the maximum altitude is 10 km, and it has the ability to attack up to 4 targets at the same time.

In the field of long-range surveillance, the RLM-ME radar operates in the meter wave band and can detect aircraft and missiles at distances of up to 600 km when observing high-altitude targets. Opponent-GE, on the other hand, operates in the decimeter wave band and can reach distances of up to 400 km and altitudes of 200 km, and can track up to 150 air targets simultaneously.

The actions of the Ghost force represent a concentrated effort aimed at degrading the enemy’s integrated air defense and radar network and reducing its detection, tracking, and interception capabilities in contested airspace.
