US IRS improperly disclosed confidential tax data of thousands of immigrants, says newspaper

According to three sources interviewed by the newspaper, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the error was recently discovered and the IRS is now working with other federal agencies, such as the Treasury Department, the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, to find a solution.
