The United States has approved the potential sale of 30 AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters to Israel, in a deal estimated at up to US$ 3.8 billion.

Currently, the Israel Air Force operates two main Apache variants under the local designations “Peten” and “Saraf,” primarily assigned to the 113th and 190th Squadrons.
