The attacks took place in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, strategic areas in the east of the country.
According to the Ukrainian military, one of the Tor systems was identified near occupied Donetsk, about 1 km from the city limits. The second was hit in the Topoline village area near Mariupol. The operation was carried out by operating personnel of the 6th Battalion of the 414th Independent Brigade and the 1st Independent Center of the Drone Unit.
The offensive was coordinated by a mid-offensive command center whose role was to integrate the operations of the units involved. In addition to air defense targets, drones also struck oil depots in Luhansk, expanding the strategic effect of the operation.
Systematic neutralization of Russian air defense systems remains a key operational priority, according to the Unmanned Systems Unit. Recently, the same unit reported destroying three additional Tor systems in the Zaporizhia region, intensifying its offensive against enemy air defense infrastructure.
