The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Saturday through the social network “Truth Social”, that he will increase global tariffs from 10% to 15%. The decision came after the United States Supreme Court rejected tariffs imposed in recent months.
The Republican called the decision ridiculous and anti-American, in addition to stating that he will be, with immediate effect, increasing the 10% Global Tariff on countries. “I, as President of the United States of America, will be, effective immediately, increasing the 10% Worldwide Tariff on Countries, many of which have been “exploiting” the US for decades, without retribution (until my arrival!), to the fully permitted and legally tested level of 15%),” Trump wrote.
The US president also reported that, over the next few months, “the Trump Administration will determine and issue new and legally permitted tariffs.
