The first system from the T-155 TTA Integrated Panther prototype delivery was officially included in the records of the Land Forces Command on November 5, 2025, which marked the beginning of the operational phase of the program.
System components and integration
The T-155 TTA Panther is the result of integrating the weapon system of the 155 mm Panther towed howitzer – modernized by MKE – with a fire control system developed by ASELSAN. The whole thing was installed on an 8×8 tactical vehicle developed by BMC. Integration works and main service activities were carried out by the relevant plant management.
Qualification tests

During the qualification process, the prototype traveled over 20,000 km in various field conditions and performed approximately 350 shootings in many scenarios. Environmental testing and performance evaluations were also conducted. After completing these tests, the system was considered ready for series production.
Schedule and series production
The design contract was signed in 2020 between AFGM and ASFAT. The schedule was launched in November 2021, prototype integration was completed in November 2022, and first firing took place in December 2022. After completing the inspection in November 2025, the T-155 TTA Integrated Panther entered the series production phase.
Designed with the requirements of artillery in mind, the system, integrated with an 8×8 vehicle, offers high mobility, quick positioning and precise destruction of targets at long distances, increasing the firepower of the Turkish land forces.
