Sweden has announced its 21st military aid package to Ukraine, with a total investment of close to US$ 1.4 billion.
According to the Swedish Ministry of Defence, the funds will primarily focus on strengthening air defense and advancing Ukraine’s offensive capabilities amid the ongoing conflict.
One of the main components of the package is the expansion of a joint project for the production of long-range Ukrainian drones, which will receive around US$ 618 million. In addition, the plan includes funding for two programs aimed at supplying uncrewed surface vehicles, expanding Ukraine’s role in maritime operations.
Another significant portion, estimated at US$ 330.4 million, will be allocated to the acquisition of grenade launchers, long-range artillery ammunition, 120 mm mortar rounds, and spare parts.
