Sweden announced its 21st military aid package to Ukraine, with a total investment close to $1.4 billion.
According to the Swedish Defense Ministry, the funds will mainly be aimed at strengthening air defense and developing Ukraine’s offensive capabilities in the ongoing conflict.
One of the main components of the package is the expansion of a joint project for the production of long-range Ukrainian drones, which will receive approximately $618 million. In cooperation with Denmark, Sweden will also participate in the joint purchase of Tridon Mk2 anti-aircraft systems, with an investment of approximately $266 million.
