Russia and Ukraine hold another meeting this Tuesday (17), in Geneva, Switzerland, in search of a peace agreement. Next week, the war turns four years old.
The discussions should continue until this Wednesday (18), but there is no prospect that the enemies will reach a consensus. Despite this, United States President Donald Trump guarantees that this is the right time for a treaty. The republican mainly demands that Ukrainians have more desire to reach an agreement. Kiev leader Volodymyr Zelensky complained about this White House strategy.
Russia and Ukraine have held recent meetings in the United Arab Emirates to try to reach a ceasefire, but without much progress. The war between European countries is about to turn four years old on February 24 and is already the deadliest conflict in Europe since the Second World War.
