Ricky Martin Says He Needs “Several Hours to Process” His Super Bowl Halftime Appearance
Ricky Martin is at a loss for words to describe his Super Bowl 2026 performance.
The “Livin’ la Vida Loca” singer admitted he was still processing his feelings following his surprise appearance during Bad Bunny’s star-studded Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Feb. 8, which featured cameos from the likes of Cardi B, Alix Earle, Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba.
Alongside a photo of himself and the “NUEVAYoL” artist sharing a hug backstage with fellow surprise guest Lady GagaRicky wrote on Instagram via Spanish translation, “I need several hours to process the tsunami of emotions I’m feeling.”
During the second half of the 13-minute set, Ricky, 54, emerged to perform an acoustic version of Bad Bunny’s “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii” (“What Happened to Hawaii”), a song about protecting Puerto Rican culture. The production featured several nods to the island territory—from which both musicians hail—including dancers wearing pava hats and the inclusion of the Puerto Rico flag.
