The pre-Carnival in São Paulo this weekend welcomes attractions such as Alceu Valença and Ivete Sangalo, for the first time in the São Paulo Carnival, at Parque Ibirapuera, as well as Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

This Saturday (7), at the Ibirapuera Obelisk, in addition to the singer from Bahia, the route will welcome Alceu Valença from Pernambuco and singer Mariana Aydar on the stretch that has become a tradition in the capital of São Paulo in 12 hours of performances.

The first block, “Quem Pede, Pede”, will be the debut of Ivete Sangalo at Carnival in São Paulo. The singer will present a repertoire full of carnival hits. The gathering takes place at 9am and dispersion will be at 2pm.

Around 12pm, in another sector of Ibirapuera, the “Forrozin” block, by Mariana Aydar, promises to bring original songs and classics from artists such as Gilberto Gil, Alceu Valença, Elba Ramalho and other names from forró and baião. And at 2pm, as Mariana and Ivete disperse, “Bicho Maluco Beleza”, by Alceu Valença, begins. With forró, revelry and entertainment, the singer from Pernambuco must play until 6pm, when there is dispersion.

On Sunday (8), the city’s main attraction is electronic music DJ and music producer Calvin Harris, at Consolação, starting at 11am. The Scotsman is known for his famous collaborations with major music artists, such as Rihanna, in the hit We Found Love and Dua Lipa, with One Kiss. Singers Zé Vaqueiro and Xand Avião will also be part of the group.
