TreVeyon Henderson is embracing this romantic touchdown.
The New England Patriots player announced he and his partner—whose name has not been publicly revealed—got married in a private ceremony, days before his team will match-up against the Seattle Seahawks at the 2026 Super Bowl on Feb. 8.
“We got engaged first,” TreVeyon, 23, said in the Feb. 2 episode of The Walk podcast. “Then we eloped and made it official.”
Indeed, the running back shared a look at their proposal on Instagram last September. At the time, he posted a heartfelt photo of him and his partner smiling in front of a “Marry Me” sign, the ground covered in rose petals.
“Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,” he captioned the post. “But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30.”
True to his words, the NFL star’s faith had a massive impact on his relationship with his wife—who he first met in 2022, around the time he was recovering from a leg injury he sustained while playing at Ohio State University—and his family.
