Musk shared on the social network a post by former US State Department employee Mike Benz, who commented on a news story about the PSOE’s defeat in the parliamentary elections in the autonomous community of Aragon, held on Sunday (8).
Sánchez’s party came in second place, behind the conservative Partido Popular (PP), and saw the right-wing nationalist party Vox come in third place, winning several seats, a result similar to that of the election in Extremadura, held on December 21st.
“That’s why the corrupt Spanish government is suddenly rushing to flood the country with 500,000 immigrants and criminalize any speech that criticizes them. Their party is losing elections, rejected by their own voters, so they are importing immigrants to stay in power,” Benz wrote.
Benz gave testimony in the Brazilian Congress last year, alleging interference by the Joe Biden administration in the 2022 Brazilian presidential election, to allegedly prevent the re-election of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
Last week, Musk had already criticized Sánchez, due to the Spanish prime minister’s proposals to ban the use of social networks by children under 16 and hold executives of technology companies criminally responsible for content considered illegal on social networks and AI platforms.
“Sánchez is a tyrant and traitor to the Spanish people,” Musk wrote on X.
