Louvre: nine people are arrested in investigation into million-dollar fraud at the French museum’s box office

The Louvre had already been the target, months earlier, of a high-profile robbery involving French crown jewels valued at €88 million (R$543.8 million). The fraud at the box office, although discreet and less spectacular, proved equally impressive due to the volume diverted over a decade, according to the first investigations.
