On the run since the beginning of the month, rapper Oruam is on the agenda for a hearing at the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice scheduled for next Monday (23).
The instruction session of the case will deal with the accusations against the artist, who was arrested for violating the electronic ankle bracelet. Oruam is a defendant in a criminal case that investigates attempted murder against police officers. The hearing will also deal with the instruction of other defendants in the same case. Despite the audience, the expectation is that the rapper will not appear.
Oruam’s defense said, last week, that “there is no provision for voluntary surrender” and that it is evaluating possible appeals for the arrest order. The artist claims not to have tampered with the electronic ankle bracelet and said that the equipment was having problems.
