The video made by artificial intelligence shows the former US president and his wife, Michelle Obama, represented as monkeys. The mount was deleted after 12 hours.
According to the American government, an employee was responsible for publishing the video that talked about alleged electoral fraud in the 2022 American elections.
Trump said he did not watch the full content before publication and that he would not apologize for not considering he made a mistake.
Obama said most Americans find this type of behavior “deeply disturbing.”
The former president suggested that Trump’s posts on social media serve as a distraction, but argued that there is still a belief in values such as “decency, courtesy and respect” in the country.
