The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Cármen Lúcia, is expected to meet with the presidents of the regional electoral courts this Tuesday (10). Among the issues that will be discussed is the proposal for conduct recommendations for magistrates.
The minister has already announced ten recommendations that she intends to present. These include transparency in meetings and hearings, care with public statements, refusal of gifts or advantages and the removal of cases that have a professional connection.
The proposal to create a code of ethics for members of the Court is an old idea of Minister Edson Fachin, president of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), and will be a priority for his management.
