The text establishes a basic agreement to strengthen the supply in mining and processing of these inputs. According to the Argentine government, the initiative seeks to consolidate more solid and diversified value chains, create a favorable environment for attracting long-term investments and respond to increased global demand and the advancement of new technologies. In this context, critical minerals such as lithium and copper are identified as strategic sectors for increasing exports, generating foreign exchange and creating qualified jobs, with a positive impact on regional economies. The ministry also stated that, in a scenario of macroeconomic stability and clear rules for investments, mining is consolidated, alongside energy and agroindustry, as one of the pillars of the country’s economic transformation process.
