Anesthesiologist convicted of death of 4-year-old boy after being distracted by his cell phone during surgery

Anesthetist Mauricio Javier Krause was convicted this Tuesday (10) of the death of Valentín Mercado Toledo, 4 years old, during a surgery he was conducting. The case, which had great repercussions in the Argentine press, took place in July 11, 2024in the province of Río Negro, Argentina.
