The minister of the Federal Supreme Court, André Mendonça, ordered the resumption of the “ordinary flow” of expert actions and testimonies in the investigations carried out by the Federal Police in the case of Banco Master.
The decision comes after Minister Dias Toffoli determined in January that assets and documents seized by the PF were sealed and stored at the STF.
Later, the minister decided that the material be sent to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR).
This Thursday’s decision overturns restrictions imposed by Toffoli on the work of experts and investigators. Mendonça also reduced the confidentiality determined by his colleague for the case.
