Amnesty law proposed by Chavistas in Venezuela does not include pardon for crimes against human rights

“What we would like is for this law to give a powerful, forceful message of the intention of a new political moment” and “we hope to reach sufficient consensus for the Amnesty law to be approved unanimously”, said on Wednesday the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, brother of the president and currently first in the line of succession.
