United States President Donald Trump announced the creation of a transitional government for Gaza. The announcement was made this Thursday (15), on Trump’s social network, but without details about the authorities who will make up the local administration.
“As President of the Peace Council, I support a newly appointed technocratic Palestinian government, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, supported by the Council’s High Representative, to govern Gaza during its transition,” the US president wrote.
Trump also stated that the United States, with the support of Egypt, Turkey and Qatar, is working together to secure a demilitarization agreement with the Hamas terrorist group.
