The same term was used by sources within the UAE government to AFP (Agence France-Presse). “This was the first meeting within this format [trilateral] in plenty of time: two days of trilateral meetings. Many topics were discussed, and it is important that the conversations were constructive. The central focus of the discussions was the possible parameters for ending the war. I greatly value the understanding of the need for monitoring and supervision by the United States in the process of ending the war and guaranteeing real security,” said Zelensky. According to Zelensky, a new round of talks should begin next week, information also shared by a source from the United Arab Emirates government to AFP. “The military representatives identified a list of topics for a possible next meeting. If there is a willingness to move forward — and Ukraine is ready — new meetings will take place, possibly as early as next week. I expect a personal briefing from the delegation as soon as it returns.” The Ukrainian delegation was represented by the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, the leader of the government in the Ukrainian parliament, the Ukrainian vice-chancellor and high-ranking military personnel. On the American side, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Dan Driscoll, Alexus Grynkewich and Josh Gruenbaum participated. The Russian side, in turn, was represented by members of military intelligence and the armed forces. (this report is in update)
