Sara Foster once bid George Clooney good night, and good luck.
The 90210 alum shared that before the Oscar winner tied the knot with wife Amal Clooney in 2014, the two were once set up on a date by pals Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. As Sara remembers it, the Jay Kelly star didn’t exactly sweep her off her feet.
“I got set up with George Clooney, like, 30 years ago and it was such a blah,” Sara, 44, admitted to her sister Erin Foster on the Jan. 15 episode of The World’s First Podcast. “Sorry, had to say it.”
She added, “Rande and Cindy tried to set me up with him like when I was 24, maybe? And the four of us met and it was just such a hard ‘no.’”
And it seems that George, 64, just wasn’t who she was looking for. As Sara—who shares daughters Valentina15, and Josephine10, with ex Tommy Haas noted, “I remember just thinking, ‘Oh, he is so old.’”
In fact, the podcast host shared that she isn’t a fan of age-gap relationships overall.
