Portugal will have a 2nd round in the presidential election for the first time in 40 years, with left and extreme right

With all the votes counted, the Socialist António José Seguro led the dispute with 31.13% of the votesguaranteeing a place in the second round. The far right candidate, André Ventura, came in second place, with 23.49%, and also advances to the final round. João Cotrim Figueiredo, from the center-right, came in third with 15.99%, leaving him out of the dispute.
