More than 100 Medicine courses in the country were poorly evaluated in the National Medical Training Assessment Exam, Enamed. The courses had grades 1 and 2, considered unsatisfactory by Inep and will be punished with restriction in Fies and suspension of the opening of new vacancies.
The number was released in the exam results report, in Brasília. Enamed is an annual test to measure student performance and the quality of teaching. In total, 351 courses were evaluated and 30% are in the range considered unsatisfactory.
According to Inep, around 89 thousand students participated in the assessment, including those completing college and in other semesters. The worst evaluations, concentrated in bands 1 and 2, appear mainly in courses at municipal public institutions, where 87.5% received the lowest grades. The best results, in bands 4 and 5, were mainly concentrated in the federal and state public sector.
