Since the beginning of the war, the “Adir” system has been used continuously in defense and attack missions in various operational areas. The integration of the new units is presented as another step in the gradual strengthening of the Israeli Air Force’s operational capabilities.

The country has also reiterated the importance of its strategic security partnership with the United States and highlighted the joint commitment to maintaining stability in the Middle East.

F-35i Adir is the Israeli version of the fifth-generation fighter jet F-35 Lightning II, developed by Lockheed Martin. Adapted to Israel’s specific needs, the F-35i integrates national systems for avionics, electronic warfare and mission software, ensuring greater operational autonomy and flexibility in the integration of its own sensors and weapons. The name “Adir”, which means “mighty” in Hebrew, reflects the aircraft’s strategic role in the country’s air doctrine.

With features such as low signature, advanced sensor fusion and high situational awareness, the F-35i is designed to operate in highly contested environments and perform air superiority, precision strike and reconnaissance missions. The fighter jet, operated by the Israeli Air Force, is considered one of the most important carriers of Israel’s air force and a central element in the strategic security cooperation with the United States.
