Iran scheduled the first execution of a protester who participated in anti-government protests in the country for Wednesday (12).
Erfran Soltani, 26, is expected to be executed by hanging. He was arrested last Thursday (8), at home, for his connection with the protests against the ayatollahs’ regime.
According to the young man’s family, Soltani did not have the right to a lawyer, and the family was only allowed to visit him for 10 minutes. The Iranian government announced that specialized courts have already been designated to deal with the demonstrations.
