A fire hit the Heart Institute (InCor) at Hospital das Clínicas, in São Paulo, in the early afternoon of this Friday (30).
According to preliminary information from the Fire Department, the flames started in a boiler, equipment used for sterilization.
Seven vehicles were committed to respond to the incident on Avenida Dr. Enéas Carvalho de Aguiar, west of the capital of São Paulo. The intubated patients were evacuated to the other InCor wards by the employees themselves. There is no information about injuries.
