The Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC), which will reimburse Banco Master investors, announced the start of the payment process. Orders can be made from this Saturday (17).
Requests must be made via the FGC application in the case of individuals. Companies, in turn, must request reimbursement through the website. After this is done, investors who had, for example, Bank Credit Certificates (CDBs) from Banco Master should receive reimbursement within two business days.
It is worth remembering that the FGC only pays up to R$250,000 per CPF and financial institution. Values that exceed this amount must be questioned in another way, such as in court. In total, around R$40 billion must be paid to around one million people.
The Credit Guarantee Fund also warns about scams. The private association does not charge any type of fee to pay the guarantee, in addition to not advancing or transferring guaranteed credits. It was also informed that the FGC does not use intermediaries and no contact is made via Whatsapp or SMS.
