The trial of Carla Zambelli’s extradition request to Brazil is scheduled to begin this Tuesday (20), at 9 am.
At the hearing, the judges will hear from Zambelli’s lawyers and analyze the documentation sent by the minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, with information about the penitentiary where the former deputy will serve her sentence if extradition is authorized.
Initially, the hearing was scheduled for November, but was postponed due to a strike by the Italian Judiciary. Subsequently, the trial was rescheduled for December 4th, but ended up being postponed again after the defense presented a new batch of documents.
