An armored capsule from a ground-based robotic complex (NRK) was used to rescue a wounded Ukrainian soldier during the evacuation of an infantry position after an attack by an enemy FPV drone.
The operation was part of the mission called “Fixy”, stated the First Separate Medical Battalion.
According to the battalion, the soldier was hit by a charge dropped from an enemy drone and remained immobilized in an infantry position, unable to move on his own. The route to the evacuation point passed through an area saturated with enemy forces, making the use of traditional rescue methods impossible.

Given the situation, the command decided to use a ground-based robotic complex equipped with an armored capsule. The planned total route was 58 kilometers, of which 29 kilometers one way. After the casualty was loaded on board, the system detected the presence of an enemy drone, prompting the team to increase its speed to the maximum possible.
About four kilometers after the movement started, already during the second attempt to advance, the ground robot was hit by an enemy FPV drone. Nevertheless, the soldier was quickly extracted from the damaged capsule by soldiers from a nearby unit and received immediate medical treatment.
According to the statement, the use of the armored capsule prevented the injured person from sustaining further injuries on impact. The soldier now continues treatment in the next phase of the medical evacuation chain. The assignment lasted a total of 3 hours and 25 minutes. NRK’s average speed was 18 km/h, with a top speed of 38 km/h, and the damaged robot complex was also salvaged.
