The São Silvestre International Race reaches its 100th edition with new brands and consolidates its position as the most traditional street race in Brazil. In 2025, 55 thousand runners, from 44 countries, are registered to participate in the competition, a record number in the entire history of the event.
Another highlight of this historic edition is the female participation. Women represent 47% of total registrations, the highest percentage ever recorded at São Silvestre, reflecting the growth of female presence in the sport and the expansion of access to street racing in the country.
The 100th edition of the race takes place this Wednesday morning (31) and ends the Brazilian sporting calendar. The start begins at 7:25 am, with the Wheelchair category, followed by the female and male elites, athletes with disabilities, the premium squad and, subsequently, the general squad.
