Fincantieri today held, at its shipyard in Muggiano (La Spezia), the handover ceremony of the MPCS (Multipurpose Combat Ship/PPA) KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 to the Indonesian Navy.

The ceremony was attended by Admiral Muhammad Ali, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy; YM Prof. Dr. Junimart Girsang, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Italy; and Admiral Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto, Chief of Staff of the Italian Navy. The handover of the KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 follows the handover of its sister ship, KRI Brawijaya-320, which was carried out in July, while also completing the procurement of two units built by Fincantieri.
