President Lula (PT) swore in this Tuesday (23) the new Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Feliciano. The event was attended by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), an ally of the new member of the Esplanada dos Ministérios.
Feliciano replaces Celso Sabino, who left the government by decision of the Palácio do Planalto. With the change, there are now 14 changes in the first echelon of the third Lula government.
After leaving the government, a wing of the Union again asked for the position of Minister of Tourism. Feliciano left the party two months ago, but remains linked to the party. He, who was once Secretary of Tourism for Paraíba, is the son of federal deputy, Damião Feliciano (União-PB).
