Former director general of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) Silvinei Vasques was arrested this Friday (26) at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, in Asunción, Paraguay. According to information from authorities, he was trying to board a flight to El Salvador.
Silvinei broke the electronic ankle bracelet in Santa Catarina (SC), left Brazil without judicial authorization and went to Paraguay.
As soon as the equipment failure was identified, alerts were triggered at the borders.
After his arrest, he was identified, placed at the disposal of the Paraguayan Public Ministry and is expected to be expelled from the country and handed over to the Brazilian authorities.
