Cristina Kirchner, former president of Argentina, is recovering well after undergoing emergency surgery this Saturday (20). She had an appendicitis attack and remains hospitalized.
The politician could only be taken to the hospital after doctors assessed her health at home, where she is being held serving a six-year sentence for corruption.
The team was called in after Kirchner complained of severe abdominal pain. The surgery went as expected and was performed using a minimally invasive technique. Peronist supporters went to the door of the health center to provide support.
